“All About Sports” - Keep That Guy Off the Target

Even with mic troubles, Troy and Michael still bantered about whether the Diamondbacks can beat an NFL team in a friendly game of baseball and how likely it is that Ohio State will beat USC. They also talk Cardinals and the UofA/ASU dominance.

Not to mention the Tom Brady injury and how that will affect the team and whether the NFL should extend their season.

Hot off the Press

1) The Dbacks got swept by the Dodgers in LA and by the Giants in SF. They are now 71-74 and 2.5 games back from the first place Dodgers. Will they make the playoffs?

2) The Cardinals won in SF and sit atop the NFC West. Seattle and the Rams got smoked leaving the Cardinals with the only win in the division. Who is the top dog in the division and did the Cardinals showing on Sunday tell you anything?

3) ASU and UofA won again beating out Stanford and Toledo respectively. Which team will lose first?

Hat Trick

1) Tom Brady and Alex Smith are out for the season. Tom with torn ACL and MCL and Smith with a broken bone in his shoulder. Which team is more impacted, and which one will come out on top?

2) NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is entertaining the idea of extending the NFL season to 17 or 18 games so as to limit the poor preseason play. Agree or disagree?

3) USC and Ohio State are going head to head in California this weekend for the first time (outside of a bowl game) in 18 years. Which team has the upper hand and do you expect one (or both) of them to represent for the national title?
