“All About Sports” - Roy Williams Won’t Bet on the Lions

While Roy Williams, the Lions star wide receiver, dogs his own team, Troy and Michael butt heads regarding the hot topics in sports over the last week.

Hot off the Press:

1) The Dbacks get beat up by the Dodgers last weekend, make a phenomenal comeback on Monday against St Louis and take two of 3 in that series, winning 4-3 on Wednesday in dramatic fashion with a walk-off homer by Adam Dunn. They are now 2 games ahead of the Dodgers. What is your magic number in terms of how many wins they need to fend of the Dodgers and win the NL west, and will they need to worry about the “Rock-tober” Rockies?

2) Matt Leinart is officially benched and he is not happy. Is it warranted?

3) ASU smokes NAU 30-13 and UofA waxes Idaho 70-0 in their highest scoring game since 1921. Do these performances set any expectations for the rest of the season?

Hat Trick:

1) College football started and there were already a handful of upsets. Which one was most surprising to you?

2) The US Open is nearing the finals. Nadal is ranked one and is still the favorite. Do you pick him or the field for the Championship. And for the women’s side, Serena Williams is representing. Do you take her or the field?

3) Brett Favre was voted one of the captains for the Jets while Steve Smith, All-star WR for the Panthers, was voted not to be a captain because of his scuffle with Ken Lucas in training camp. Your thoughts.
